Effective 2017, Gian P. Zini, a graduate of the Law School at the University of Modena (Italy) and the Italian Military Alpine Academy (SMALP) and a recognized CG/LA - GViP Infrastructure Expert, has assumed the role as CEO of C&Z GLOBAL Advisors.

Previously, Gian P. Zini practiced law based out of Milan, London and New York, receiving high ranking by top legal media and professional organizations, and focusing in the fields of Corporate & Structured Finance, International Capital Markets, Securities & Banking Law, M&A & Cross-Border Structuring, Venture Capital & Private Equity, International Trade, Business & Investments, Real Estate & Infrastructure, Energy, & Sustainability, Antitrust and E.U. Law, developing executive leadership as well as management skills and responsibilities within one of the top European law firms with presence in 18 jurisdictions, establishing the firm’s North American office and thereafter founding its own multi-disciplinary professional organization, comprising a law firm with professionals licensed in 12 jurisdictions and offices in New York, Milan, Rome and London, three Consulting Companies (operating respectively in the segments of Corporate Strategies, Management Advisory and International Business Development), and an International Business Center in New York City.

Throughout the years Gian P. Zini served also as Member of the Tax & Legal Committee of the European Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (EVCA), as well as Director and Advisory Board Member in various companies, in Europe and North America, from start-up/early stage up to mid-cap, representing Corporate Shareholders as well as VC & PE firms, Financial Institutions and Banks.

Since his relocation to the Intermountain West in 2006, Mr. Zini has committed his studies and work to (i) International Expansion Strategies, (ii) FDI Origination, M&A and Capital Aggregation, (iii) Infrastructural Projects, (iv) Commercial Real Estate, (v) Energy, Renewables & Clean-Tech, and (vi) Sustainability Strategies & CSR, interfacing and cooperating on a pro bono basis with various local, state, national and international organizations and economic development agencies, economic development initiatives and think tanks, executive educational programs, and policy making initiatives.

Mr. Zini -a frequent speaker and guest lecturer at academic and professional events, venues and executive educational programs, as well as author/coauthor of articles and commentaries (see Past Presentations)- has also committed his professional experience to the academic world, teaching throughout the years, as adjunct and associate faculty, (a) International Business Culture and Global Financial Markets at the Department of Communication, Economics & Information of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy; (b) Global Corporate Finance at the Department of Finance of the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah (‘UofU’); (c) Sustainability and International Culture related classes at the U of U’s College of Social & Behavioral Sciences; and (d) Sustainability Strategy for the MBA Program of the Bill and Vieve Gore School of Business at Westminster College.
