Lew co-founded C&Z GLOBAL Advisors with our CEO, Gian P. Zini, in 2017, and exited the Company in the Fall of 2019, due to its fully absorbing responsibilities in his capacity as CEO of Colliers International Utah, and his extensive public engagements within the State of Utah.
With decades of experience, as a practicing attorney in Los Angeles and in the San Francisco Bay area (admitted to California State Bar in 1976 and US Supreme Court in 1985), corporate executive in the global telecommunications and broadband sectors (as International Vice President for MediaOne International and US WEST, where he was responsible for their international government and multilateral financial institution relations or numerous wireless and broadband investments in more than 20 countries), academic, economic development and infrastructure professional, Government official and leader of State Economic Development Organizations, many consider Lew Cramer as one of the "most well internationally connected economic development professionals" in the United States.
Mr. Cramer served as a White House Fellow, Deputy Assistant Commerce Secretary, and U.S. Assistant Secretary of Commerce for International Trade in the Reagan administration, and, during the George H.W. Bush administration, as Director General of the U.S. Commercial Service, leading the activities of 1,400 commercial officers at over 100 embassies worldwide and 65 offices throughout the United States.
A graduate of the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University, Mr. Cramer was President & CEO of World Trade Center Utah from 2006 through 2014, Managing Director of Summit Ventures International, Chair of the Global Affairs Council of the American Management Association, member of the U.S. Department of State’s International Communications and Information Policy Advisory Board, former International Advisor to the Chair of the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris, formerly serving as member of the Board of Trustees of the American Management Association, and board member of the U.S. Telecommunications Training Institute and Utah Technology Council. Currently, Mr. Cramer, in addition to his position as CEO of Colliers International Utah (Colliers Utah), formerly CBC Advisors, Vice Chairman of the World Trade Center Utah, and President of C&Z GLOBAL Advisors, serves as Commissioner on UDOT’s Utah Transportation Commission, and on several corporate and nonprofit boards, including:

Also, Mr. Cramer has been extremely active in the academic environment, teaching as Adjunct Professor of Masters of Business Taxation courses at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles (1982-1984); MBA courses in International Business and International Marketing, at Georgetown University, Washington DC (1991-1998), and MBA courses in International Trade (with former U.S. Ambassador in Singapore and Beijing, and Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman, currently U.S. Ambassador in Russia) at the University of Utah.
